slanderous - or accurate?

Supervisor Marino read a speech at the February 13 '08 town board meeting announcing the great job he has been doing; all this contrary to what has been published on "...some websites" (you are there right now!) which he decried as "slanderous". We state unequivocally that what we have published is accurate.

.

At this same meeting, a public hearing was held to discuss granting a Special Use Permit for a ShopRite shopping center to be constructed on Kay-Fies Drive, behind the now-vacant Stop'N'Shop. We would love to see Shp Rite come to Stony Point but question whether this is the right location for it. There will only be one access - Kay-Fries Drive, just south of the Filors Lane/ Route 9W intersection where two new drug stores and a bank are being constructed. There has been no planning done either by any of the applicants, or by the town to deal with the substantially increased traffic flow.

SPACE obtained a number of documents under the Freedom Of Information Act which reavealed what appear to be some shenanigans at town hall. Read the report here, and watch the video of the public hearing on the right. For a map and some background information, go to this earlier web page.
